Buffalo Maple Sauce

ingredients
- 2 T Taste OVS Cayenne Olive Oil
- 1 red onion, peeled and chopped ½” diced
- 2 red bell peppers, chopped ½” diced
- 1 t Buffalo Maple Seasoning
- 1 t pure maple syrup
- 2 T Taste OVS Garlic Chive White Balsamic
- ½ c vegetable broth, plus more if needed
- ½ t salt, to taste
instructions
Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat, until shimmering. Stir in chopped onion and peppers and cook for 4-7 minutes, until or until softened and fragrant. Stir in seasoning and maple syrup; let cook for 1 minute, then add balsamic. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sharp edge of the vinegar has cooked off. Remove from heat. Add vegetable broth and use immersion blender to blend the mixture until it is super smooth. Cook over medium heat until the sauce reduces to the desired thickness. Add salt, if necessary. Serve with wings, burgers, steak, chicken, fish, thin out with oil to make a salad dressing, or mix into mayonnaise or sour cream for a creamy dip.
